GIGABYTE has announced the WRX80-SU8-IPMI motherboard, designed to build powerful workstations and servers based on AMD hardware platform. Supporting Ryzen Threadripper PRO 3000WX processors with up to 64 cores. Built in CEB (305 × 267mm) form factor, it uses AMD WRX80 chipset. Eight slots are available for DDR4-3200/2933/2600 memory modules.
There are four SATA 3.0 ports and three SlimSAS connectors. In addition, there are two M.2 slots available for installation of PCIe 4.0 x4 or SATA solid state modules.
The card has seven PCIe 4.0 x16 slots for expansion cards. Two 10GbE LAN ports and two 1GbE LAN ports are responsible for the network connections. There is a multichannel audio codec Realtek ALC1220-VB.
The interface block has one USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-C and five USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-A ports, four network cable slots, an analogue D-Sub connector, a serial port, S/PDIF output and a set of audio jacks.
