Acer introduced Nitro XV2 gaming monitors with AMD FreeSync Premium support and up to 270 Hz

Acer announced Nitro XV2 family of monitors designed for gaming desktops on Russian market.

The series includes models Nitro XV272UKVbmiiprzx, Nitro XV272UXbmiipruzx and Nitro XV272LVbmiiprzx: all of them have 27 inches diagonal. AMD FreeSync Premium technology is implemented, which allows you to eliminate the unwanted tearing effect and increase the smoothness of the gameplay.

The panels are based on a high-quality IPS matrix. The XV272UKV and XV272UX have a resolution of 2560 × 1440 pixels (QHD format) and the XV272LV has a resolution of 1920 × 1080 pixels (Full HD). When the monitors are working in normal mode, they can provide a refresh rate of 144 Hz, and when you overclock it increases to 165–170 Hz. In the case of XV272UXbmiipruzx displays, this figure is 270 Hz.

Acer Nitro 5 gaming notebooks available with AMD and Intel processors

Nitro 5 gaming laptops were unveiled by Acer at CES 2021, which is taking place online this year due to the pandemic. Buyers can choose between versions on different hardware platforms with different screen sizes.

In particular, laptops with eleventh-generation Intel Core processors and AMD Ryzen 9 5900HX have been announced. The DDR4 RAM capacity is up to 32GB in both cases. Two M.2 PCIe or SATA SSDs can be installed.

The screen size may be 15.6 or 17.3 inches diagonally. In the case of Intel versions, the refresh rate is 144Hz, response time & ; 3ms. Two fans, Acer CoolBoost technology and four vents provide Nitro 5 with efficient cooling. The CoolBoost feature has the ability to ramp up fan speed for optimal system performance.

Acer Aspire 5 and Aspire 7 notebooks get AMD Ryzen 5000 processors

The Aspire 7 and Aspire 5 notebooks are the next generation of notebooks to be unveiled by Acer at CES 2021, with the announcement of the new generation of notebooks, designed for mainstream use.

The foundation of these laptops is the AMD Ryzen 5000 chip. Display with diagonal of 15.6 inches has a resolution of 1920 × 1080 pixels, which corresponds to the format Full HD. The Aspire 5 notebook family can carry up to 24GB of RAM and the AMD Radeon RX 640 graphics accelerator handles the graphics. Acer unveils Chromebook Spin 514 laptop with AMD Ryzen Mobile processor

Acer has timed the announcement of the Chromebook Spin 514 portable computer running Chrome OS to coincide with the CES 2021 consumer electronics show, which is going digital this year.

The laptop is built on the AMD Ryzen Mobile platform: it will be offered in modifications with the Ryzen 7 3700C and Ryzen 5 3500C processor.
