ASUS has announced graphics gas pedals based on the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1630.
Three models made their debut-- Phoenix GeForce GTX 1630 4GB, TUF Gaming GeForce GTX 1630 4GB and TUF Gaming GeForce GTX 1630 OC Edition 4GB.Image source: ASUSThe new products are based on the TU117-150 chip with Turing architecture.
The Phoenix GeForce GTX 1630 4GB and TUF Gaming GeForce GTX 1630 4GB models run at default default frequencies of 1740 MHz (base) and 1785 MHz (turbo).
TUF Gaming GeForce GTX 1630 OC Edition 4GB graphics cards are overclocked: working at 1740/1815 MHz in Gaming Mode and up to 1845 MHz in OS Mode, Phoenix series cards are equipped with cooling system with one fan, while TUF-version has cooling unit with two fans.
A PCI Express 3.0 slot is required to install the new products.
They are equipped with DVI-D, HDMI 2.0b and DisplayPort 1.4a connectors and use Auto-Extreme technology, which means 100% automated manufacturing process to ensure reliability and durability.

Thus, its theoretical throughput will be 96 Gbps, not much less than 128 GB/sec at GeForce GTX 1650, which uses GDDR5 memory.
According to VideoCardz, release of GeForce GTX 1630 is scheduled for May 31.
It is likely that more details about the new product will be available next week at Computex exhibition.
There is no information about the price of the gas pedal yet.

AMD recently launched a promotional campaign in which it compared the Radeon RX 6000 series of graphics cards in terms of performance per dollar spent to competitive solutions.
