Radeon RX 6700 graphics card appeared in Europe at the price from 380 euros

Sapphire became the first company to introduce the latest (and probably the last) model in the AMD family of graphics cards on RDNA 2 architecture - Radeon RX 6700.
For some time the novelty was available only in China.
Recently, however, the gas pedal was found in the range of some European stores.Image source: MEGAsizeGPUWith the announcement of Radeon RX 6700 kazus occurred.
Sapphire presented a video card in its version Pulse a week before the official announcement of AMD itself.
Herewith the partner of \"red\" named it in its own way, without RX prefix in the name.
To all appearances AMD was not happy with such arbitrariness and as a result Sapphire changed the name of video card to Radeon RX 6700.
In spite of this, the first batches of video cards have already been on sale under the made-up name.
However, the other day it was spotted in France and Spain, where it is offered for 570 and 580 euros including VAT, respectively.
The Spanish retailer PC Componentes is currently on sale, so you can buy the gas pedal for 380 euros.
AMD itself did not name the recommended price of Radeon RX 6700, so it is hard to say which of these price tags is closer to the real price.
Image source: PCComponentesThe appearance of the Radeon RX 6700 in Europe means that it is no longer a Chinese exclusive.
The latter was hinted at by the very quiet announcement of the card in general.
The company has not published any press releases or even reported the announcement on Twitter, but simply added the novelty to the database of its official site.
Image source: PC21.frThe Radeon RX 6700 is based on the Navi 22 XL graphics chip with 2304 stream processors, 144 texture blocks, 64 rasterization blocks and 36 ray trace acceleration blocks.
The reference version of the chip has a base frequency of 1941 MHz and a gaming frequency of 2174 MHz.
In Boost mode it goes up to 2450 MHz.
The card has 10 GB of GDDR6 memory with 160-bit interface, 16 GB/s per pin and up to 320 GB/s bandwidth.
It also features 80 MB of dedicated Infinity Cache memory.
The gas pedal consumes 175W.
For this purpose, it has one 8 pins auxiliary power connector.
The claimed specifications are fully in line with the specialized Sapphire GPRO X080 mining video card, which is devoid of video connectors.
Apparently, to make the card gaming, AMD changed BIOS for it and added external video outputs.Image source: VideoCardzTests Sapphire Radeon RX 6700 Pulse in 3DMark Time Spy show that it is about 10% faster than Radeon RX 6650 XT.

Radeon 6700 video card went on sale without official AMD announcement

Sapphire Radeon 6700 Pulse video card presented earlier this week went on sale.
Photos of its product packaging, as well as the characteristics shared by one of the users of Twitter.Image source: Twitter / @Zed__WangRemind that Sapphire Radeon 6700 Pulse, in fact, is a gaming version of the gas pedal Sapphire BC-2235 GPRO X080 10GB, designed for mining.
Due to the declining demand for graphics gas pedals from cryptocurrency miners, the manufacturer apparently decided to convert it into a gaming gas pedal.AMD has not officially announced the Radeon 6700.
Thus, the initiative comes exclusively from its partner Sapphire.
By the way, the latter also released a model Radeon 6700, not related to any of its gaming series.
It exactly copies the appearance of the above mentioned Sapphire mining video card.
The only difference between the versions is the GPU frequency and the presence of external video connectors. At the heart of the Radeon 6700 uses a graphics processor Navi 22 XL with 36 execution units, which includes 2304 stream processors, 144 texture blocks and 64 rasterization units.
The chip runs at up to 2230 MHz in gaming mode and up to 2495 MHz in Boost mode (the screenshot shows lower frequencies, probably in \"silent\" BIOS mode).
The card offers dual BIOS support.
Sapphire Radeon 6700 Pulse has 10 GB of GDDR6 memory with 160 bit bus and 16 GB/sec per pin.
The declared TDP of new items is 220 watts.
A set of external video interfaces consists of one HDMI and three DisplayPort.
According to GPU-Z program, the card works with an old version of Radeon Software driver 22.3.1.There is no information about Sapphire Radeon 6700 Pulse cost.

Sapphire unveiled the Radeon 6700 gaming graphics card - used to produce these for mining

A few hours after the leak, Sapphire officially unveiled the Radeon 6700 gaming graphics card.
No, there's no mistake.
The novelty has no RX prefix in the name.
Apparently, the card was originally designed for mining, but the decline in demand for mining gas pedals on the wave of unstable cryptocurrency market forced the manufacturer to repurpose the card for gaming.Image source: SapphireThe design of one of the novelties, which is almost exactly copies the model Sapphire BC-2235 GPRO X080 10GB, designed for mining.

Sapphire Radeon 6700 is presented in two versions.
One of them is Pulse.
The second has no additional name (it is similar to the card for mining).Sapphire Radeon 6700 PlusIt appears that both versions of Sapphire Radeon 6700 have the same GPU frequencies.
In gaming mode, the chip runs at 2230 MHz, and in Boost mode at 2495 MHz.
By comparison, the Sapphire BC-2235 GPRO X080 10GB Mining Sapphire operates in a frequency range of 2,000 to 2,132 MHz.
Each Sapphire Radeon 6700 got 10 GB of GDDR6 memory with a 160-bit bus and 16 Gbit/s per pin.
Declared TDP value of the new products is 220 watts.
Each card has one additional 8-pin power connector.
A set of external video interfaces consists of one HDMI and three DisplayPort.Sapphire Radeon 6700Information on the recommended cost of the gas pedal Radeon 6700 Sapphire company did not report.
Moreover, the manufacturer has not even showed any product packs on their official website.
This may hint at the fact that the video card will be distributed through PC OEM-builders.

SAPPHIRE TOXIC Radeon RX 6900 XT Limited Edition graphics card review: alternative flagship

SAPPHIRE TOXIC Radeon RX 6900 XT Limited Edition graphics card review: alternative flagship

Just recently AMD updated the top model of the Radeon 6000 line, as a result Radeon RX 6900 XT dropped one step lower.
Nevertheless, the recipe for the Radeon RX 6950 XT comes down to increased GPU clock speeds and GDDR6 memory, which means that the space between the new and old flagship has already been filled by overclocked versions of the RX 6900 XT.
One of the brightest representatives of this category is on the agenda today.
SAPPHIRE has revitalized the TOXIC brand to release the RX 6900 XT equipped with the most powerful liquid cooling system.
⇡#Technical specifications, pricingThe SAPPHIRE TOXIC Radeon RX 6900 XT Limited Edition graphics cards come with a Navi 21 GPU labeled XTX.
This is the original version of the chip with a full set of processing units, which debuted in the reference model Radeon RX 6900 XT, but thanks to the selection of promising crystals SAPPHIRE increased clock speeds.
Compared to AMD specifications, the estimated frequency under game load (Game Clock) increased from 2 015 to 2 135, and the opportunistic frequency (Boost Clock) increased from 2 250 to 2 365 MHz.
For comparison, the Radeon RX 6950 XT specs are 2,100 and 2,310 MHz respectively.
What, unfortunately, is not able to compensate for the GPU crystal sorting is the RAM bandwidth.
In the new flagship model AMD has replaced 16Gbps GDDR6 chips with 18Gbps, and this is not an unnecessary upgrade for RDNA 2 architecture products which rely on a narrow 256-bit VRAM bus combined with a third-level cache of 128 Mbytes. However, SAPPHIRE has not limited its overclocking to such, already quite substantial.
TOXIC Radeon RX 6900 XT LE provides additional overclocking with SAPPHIRE TRIXX software, boosting GPU Boost Clock to 2600 or 2660 MHz.
The specific value depends on the model number of the video card: products numbered 11308-13-20G overclock less, and numbers 11308-14-20G and 11308-06-20G - more.
By the way, Radeon RX 6950 XT in the same TOXIC series is designed for a lower clock speed - 2 556 MHz, but it is saved in the video card BIOS, and the maximum overclocking promises SAPPHIRE TOXIC Radeon RX 6900 XT Extreme Edition up to 2 730 MHz.
Not surprising, since this is one of the rare devices based on the Navi 21 version XTHX chip.
Let's see if we can beat SAPPHIRE's record by manually overclocking the TOXIC Radeon RX 6900 XT LE.

However, the SAPPHIRE product has noticeably dropped in price since its release at the end of last year.
At the moment the TOXIC Radeon RX 6900 XT LE currency prices went down to $1,099, and the ruble prices start from 190,646 rubles.
Thus, on the western market the device is in the same price category as the conditionally affordable versions of GeForce RTX 3080 Ti and Radeon RX 6950 XT.
But in Russia it is not the most favorable offer in terms of price to performance ratio, when GeForce RTX 3080 Ti you can buy for 158,805 rubles, and Radeon RX 6900 XT - for 129,280.
Radeon RX 6950 XT we have not yet been able to find in local retail, which is not surprising, because even on U.S.
retail sites, the new flagship is only available on order.⇡#DesignSince care of the graphics processor TOXIC Radeon RX 6900 XT LE took over the liquid cooling system, the graphics card is surprisingly compact compared to typical examples of modern higher
