NVIDIA just now stopped production of GeForce RTX 2060 Super and RTX 2060

NVIDIA has stopped production of GeForce RTX 2060 Super and GeForce RTX 2060 12GB graphics cards on the Turing architecture generation before last.
This is reported by the Chinese media, citing its sources.Image source: NVIDIAThe GeForce RTX 2060 video card with 6 GB of memory was introduced in early 2019.
During this time, NVIDIA managed to release two more variants of the gas pedal - GeForce RTX 2060 Super in mid-2019 and GeForce RTX 2060 model with 12 GB.
The company introduced the latter in December 2021.
The decision was made against a backdrop of significant remaining stock of Turing generation GPUs, and as a response to the peak chip shortage that left video card manufacturers struggling to produce more advanced GeForce RTX 30-series models.During its existence, the GeForce RTX 2060 managed to become the second most popular graphics card on Steam gaming platform.
Model GeForce RTX 2060 Super did not win such interest, but was still in high demand among gamers around the world because of its relatively low cost.
Source image: SteamAccording to the Chinese media, NVIDIA has stopped shipping GPUs for the GeForce RTX 2060 and GeForce RTX 2060 Super.
The company also asked its partners to reduce the amount of production of these graphics cards by the end of this month. At the time of release GeForce RTX 2060 was the most affordable graphics card with NVIDIA support for hardware ray tracing.
Among current models, this title belongs to the GeForce RTX 3050.
However, if you believe the leaks, NVIDIA is already in development of a model GeForce RTX 4050 as part of a new generation of gas pedals Ada Lovelace.
The GeForce RTX 4050 package was spotted at the Galax event on GeForce RTX 40-series in October.

However, amid recent announcements, their stock could be depleted quite quickly.

NVIDIA officially introduced GeForce GTX 1630 - $150 entry-level graphics card based on Turing architecture

NVIDIA officially introduced the entry-level graphics gas pedal GeForce GTX 1630.
At the heart of the graphics card is the TU117-150 generation Turing.Picture source: HXLThe new GPU features 512 CUDA cores.
For comparison, the model GeForce GTX 1650 has 896 cores.
Otherwise, the novelty is very similar to the older model: the same architecture, the same PCB, the same indicator of power consumption of 75 W and the same cooling system options.
There is no reference version of novelties, only variants from partners NVIDIA.
The graphics card has 4 GB of GDDR6 memory with an effective frequency of 12 GHz, as in the older model.
To tell the truth, nowadays the memory bus bit width is less and makes up only 64 bits instead of 128.
This decreases the memory bandwidth to only 96 GB/s instead of 192 GB/s.
This is even lower than the GeForce GTX 1050 Ti on the Pascal architecture from 2016.Memory bandwidth greatly affects the performance of the graphics card, especially when using high resolution.
Therefore, it is very difficult to call the GeForce GTX 1630 a gaming gas pedal.
Apparently, NVIDIA believes otherwise.
According to earlier rumors, the GeForce GTX 1630 will be even slower than the GeForce GTX 1050 Ti.
NVIDIA does not provide official charts with performance data.Image source: VideoCardzAt the moment we know that GeForce GTX 1630 will be sold in China, where it is estimated at 1000-1100 yuan (about $150 including VAT), depending on the model.
Information on the recommended price of the gas pedal for other markets is not yet available.

NVIDIA postponed GeForce GTX 1630 release until June 15 - memory will be slower than GTX 1050 Ti

Entry-level graphics gas pedal GeForce GTX 1630 will go on sale on June 15, reports VideoCardz, citing its sources.
NVIDIA has allegedly moved the release date of the new product for two weeks - previously reported that the graphics card will appear on the shelves on May 31.Image source: VideoCardzThe only release date of the graphics card is known from the source.
There is no information about the timing of the lifting of the ban on the publication of reviews of the gas pedal yet.
Earlier it was reported that GeForce GTX 1630 will be based on 12nm Turing graphics processor TU117-150.
This is a \"cut\" version of the chip TU117-300, which is used in the model GeForce GTX 1650.
The TU117-150 has 512 CUDA cores.
The GeForce GTX 1650 has 896 of them.
Novelty supports only 64-bit memory bus, which is half the capabilities of the older version.
The card will get 4 GB of GDDR6 memory at 12 Gbit/s per pin.
However, its bandwidth is reduced to 96 GB/s because of the low interface bit rate.
Thus, the memory here is slower than the six-year-old GeForce GTX 1050 Ti generation Pascal, which should be replaced by a new gas pedal GeForce GTX 1630.Information about the recommended price model GeForce GTX 1630 yet.

GeForce GTX 1630 graphics card will get 512 CUDA cores and 4 GB GDDR6 - release on May 31

The other day it became known that NVIDIA is preparing to release an entry-level graphics card GeForce GTX 1630.
Now its specifications have appeared on the pages of the VideoCardz portal.
In addition, the resource sources have reported on the expected date of release of novelties.
Image source: VideoCardzGraphic processor TU117-150 Turing generation on the basis of 12nm production process will be used in GeForce GTX 1630.
This is a scaled down version of the chip TU117-300, which is used in the GeForce GTX 1650.
There are 512 CUDA cores in TU117-150 chip, which is half the size of the full chip.
Novelty supports only 64-bit memory bus, which again is half the capabilities of the older version. On the other hand, the GeForce GTX 1630 GPU will run at higher frequencies than the GeForce GTX 1650.
According to VideoCardz sources, the maximum GPU frequency of the younger model will be 1800 MHz.
In GeForce GTX 1650 maximum frequency is 1665 MHz.
That is why the TDP rate of new products will be like in GTX 1650, equal to 75 W.
The new card will get 4 GB of GDDR6 memory with 12 Gbit/sec per pin.
Thus, its theoretical throughput will be 96 Gbps, not much less than 128 GB/sec at GeForce GTX 1650, which uses GDDR5 memory.
According to VideoCardz, release of GeForce GTX 1630 is scheduled for May 31.
It is likely that more details about the new product will be available next week at Computex exhibition.
There is no information about the price of the gas pedal yet.

Akasa Turing A50 case will create a silent AMD Ryzen 4000-based PC

Akasa will start sales in February of the Turing A50, designed to build a compact desktop PC with zero noise level. About the preparation of new items reported resource FanlessTech, which have images of the product.

Enclosure is designed to form a silent station based on the electronic ¬ lquo;essence raquo; nettop ASUS PN50. It is about using AMD Ryzen 4000 Renoir processor with Radeon Vega 7 graphics. The capacity of DDR4 RAM can be up to 32 GB (two SO-DIMM modules). Akasa Turing A50 case provides effective passive cooling. Thus, the ribbed outer surface acts as a heat sink for heat dissipation from the installed components.

The novelty allows horizontal and vertical positioning. In one of the side parts there are USB Type-A and USB Type-C ports, as well as a standard audio jack. Computers based on Akasa Turing A50 will be able to carry on board a 2.5-inch hard drive, as well as solid-state module size M.2. Displaying an image on multiple monitors at once is possible. Information about the approximate price is not available at this time;
